Usha Vance earned her undergraduate degree from Northwestern University and her law degree from Yale Law School. She is currently a partner at the Washington, D.C.-based law firm Baker McKenzie and has previously worked as a lawyer in the U.S. Department of Justice.

Usha Vance is married to J.D. Vance and they have three young children: Ewan, Vivek, and Mirabel. Usha and her family reside in Cincinnati, Ohio.
