Marvel Shifts Schedule, Announces Hall H Update
San Diego Comic-Con 2023 brought an exciting update for Marvel fans as Kevin Feige took to the stage during Marvel Studios' Hall H panel to announce the shifted release date for Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.
Avengers: Doomsday Release Date
Originally slated for release on May 2, 2025, Avengers: The Kang Dynasty will now hit theaters on May 2, 2026, as per a press release. The reason for the shift was not immediately clear. Marvel Studios has not yet provided further details.
In addition to the release date change, Feige also confirmed that Avengers: Doomsday is the fifth film in the Avengers franchise and announced that the film will be followed by Avengers: Secret Wars, set for release on May 7, 2027. These announcements conclude the current Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) saga, setting the stage for exciting new adventures.
