LeBron James Leads Cavaliers to Victory in Game 7 of Eastern Conference Finals

Epic Battle Ends with Thrilling Finish

LeBron James put on a historic performance in Game 7 of the 2018 Eastern Conference Finals, leading the Cleveland Cavaliers to an 87-79 victory over the Boston Celtics.

With the game tied at 79-79 with just over two minutes remaining, James took over. He drew a foul on Celtics guard Terry Rozier and calmly sank both free throws to give the Cavaliers an 81-79 lead. On the following possession, James came up with a steal and was fouled again, this time by forward Jayson Tatum. James once again converted both free throws, extending the Cavaliers' lead to 83-79.

The Celtics had a chance to tie the game with 10 seconds remaining, but Kyrie Irving's three-point attempt bounced off the rim. Kevin Love grabbed the rebound and was fouled, sending him to the line for two free throws. Love converted both shots, sealing the victory for the Cavaliers.

James finished the game with 35 points, 15 rebounds, and 9 assists. He was joined in double figures by Love (17 points) and JR Smith (13 points). Irving led the Celtics with 24 points, while Tatum added 19 points.

The Cavaliers will now advance to the NBA Finals, where they will face the Golden State Warriors. The Finals begin on Thursday, May 31.
