Chiefs Announce Practice Squad Additions

Cornerback Ekow Boye-Doe and Safety Acquired

Practice Squad Roster Now at 16 Players

The Kansas City Chiefs have officially announced the addition of two players to their practice squad: cornerback Ekow Boye-Doe and safety. These signings bring the Chiefs' practice squad roster to a total of 16 players.

Boye-Doe, a 6'0", 186-pound defender, was signed as an undrafted free agent out of Massachusetts. He spent last season with the Houston Texans, appearing in four games. Boye-Doe is expected to provide depth in the Chiefs' secondary, which has been depleted by injuries.

The unnamed safety was also signed as an undrafted free agent, this time out of Stony Brook. He brings with him a strong college career, having started 40 games for the Seawolves. The safety is expected to compete for a backup role behind Tyrann Mathieu and Juan Thornhill.

The Chiefs' practice squad is designed to develop young players and provide depth in case of injuries or roster departures. With the addition of Boye-Doe and the safety, the Chiefs have strengthened their overall roster and increased their flexibility for the upcoming season.
