Dortmund Secure 5-4 Aggregate Victory
Dortmund produced a superb second-half comeback to beat Atletico Madrid 5-4 on aggregate and reach their first Champions League semi-final in 11 years.
Borussia Dortmund beat Atletico Madrid 4-2 on the night and 5-4 on aggregate to set up a mouthwatering semi-final clash against either Bayern Munich or Paris Saint-Germain.
This was the first time Dortmund have scored four goals in a Champions League match at home since a 4-0 win vs Atlético in the 201819 group stage.
Atletico took the lead in the first half through Alvaro Morata, but Dortmund hit back with three goals in the second half from Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, Jude Bellingham, and Karim Adeyemi.
Atletico pulled one back through Antoine Griezmann, but it was not enough as Dortmund held on to secure a famous victory.
Dortmund will now face Bayern Munich or Paris Saint-Germain in the semi-finals, with the first leg to be played on April 25.
